Triumphs

With the new release of the Hot Wheels Triumph TR6, it occurred to me that I didn't have any Triumphs represented in the museum. So I shot and posted some pics. I put up the Hot Wheel variations I have and some JL TR3s. Somewhere I have a Majorette TR7 and a Tootsietoy but I couldn't put my hands on them easily so those will have to wait for a future update. And, since I was shooting pics anyway, I added some JL Austin-Healey Sprites like the blue one pictured here. Enjoy.

Update: Cougars

Howdy Folks.
I added 6 new Cougars this week as well as the usual misc. additions. For example, I also added a Hot Wheels Tucker to the Tucker page. You can see some of the cars touring around Spiralton in this pic. Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Everybody. I just wanted to say "Happy Thanksgiving" to you that celebrate it. I don't have any Thanksgiving cars so I just added a few new Chevelles. I like the police version of this Johnny Lightning.

Update: Helicopters Part 2

Well, I was going to update something automotive this time and I did add a few miscellaneous pics, but I ended up adding about 8 more Helicopters. One of these days I'm going to reshoot some of them and replace the crappy pics. The one pictured here is from MGA and is from 2007.

Update: Helicopters

For this update I streamlined the Helicopter page and added a couple of pics like the Siku pictured here. It's funny how many helicopters you acquire when you collect cars.

Update: Studebakers

Not much to report. I've only been able to update some odds and ends, some Chargers and a couple of Studebakers. Pictured here is the Muscle Machine 1953 Studebaker.

Update: 8 Crate

Howdy. For the last few days I've been uploading a bunch of miscellaneous stuff to the site. Some Cougars, a couple of Corvettes and so forth. But I thought I'd post this picture of the 8 Crate since it looks like it could be part of Halloween. I bought the Hot Wheels Halloween cars but I haven't opened them yet. I guess I should and then post pictures in case you haven't seen them yet. :)
Also, have you seen the delivery version of the 8 Crate? They filled in the back windows on the casting. I almost missed it. That's another one I need to open...

Update: Oldsmobile

Howdy! I added 8 new Oldsmobiles and updateded the page. I still need to round all of them up and do it right but until then here's something to look at. Also, I added 2 Matchbox Prius's to the Toyota section.

Update: Johnny Lightnings

Not much to the update today. Just a couple of Johnny Lightnings. A Papa John's Pizza Exclusive Camaro. You can check that one out in the Pizza Delivery section. And a 1953 Packard Caribbean that started life as a Racing Champions. You can see both versions on the Packard section of the main site. Pictured here is the new Johnny Lightning version.

Update: Mini Coopers!

A friend of mine decided to start collection Mini Coopers so I decided to post most of my collection for her to reference. I needed to do it anyway since I only had a few up. So what I did was give them their own category since it has been produced under different names and companies. Here is the wikipedia article on the original Mini that talks about it's history.
I organized them a little differently than I usually do as well. I mixed the original and the new mini's together and alpahbetized them according to toy manufacturer. I still gave the bigger variation collections their own pages. Just click on the pics with the variation icon underneath the photo. All in all, I posted about 50 new pics. The picture shown with this post shows a Hot Wheels Racing Mini with the 1970s Matchbox one that I had as a kid. One of my favorites. It use to beat a lot of Hot Wheels in races. :) Enjoy!

Update and Coming Soon

I added the Hot Wheels Back Sliders this week and that was all I've had time for. However, I just wanted to let you know that I'm preparing a new category with about 50 pics that will be up very soon. So stay tuned.

Update: Plymouths

Still busy but I managed to add 3 new 'Cudas and a Hot Wheels GTX. The 'Cuda pictured is from the M2 Driver Series.

Update: Screaming for Ice Cream

Got a Reese's Cup with Butterscotch Sundae today. So I had to post an ice cream truck up on the site. The HW Greased Gremlin got it's own page and a new pic, the HW '65 GTO got two new pics added and a there was a couple of single additions to the site. Enjoy!

Matchbox M1A1 Abrams

Have you seen the new Matchbox M1A1 Abrams Tank that they released in the Real Working Rigs line? Its bigger and I think better than the older mainline version. It was added to the Military section of the website, along with a couple of other castings.

The Weird Faces of Maisto Fantasy Castings

Hi there. Today I added 11 new pics to the Maisto section. Some of them were from the Maisto Fantasy collection. Very strange diecast indeed. If you never seen them before you can check them out here.

Johnny Lightning 'Cudas

Been busy with work so I haven't updated anything, so in the meantime here's a pic of my Johnny Lightning '70 'Cudas - Casting Number 490 - as of 2004. Now that it's 2010 I have 11 of them.

Scion

So today's update involved giving the Hot Wheels Ooz Coupe it's own page and adding the 2009 Halloween version of it and uploading a Matchbox Scion to go with the lonely Maisto Police version.

Buzz Lightyear and his rides.

Hot Wheels just released this Buzz Lightyear car in their Toy Story 3 set. But did you know ol Buzz had a 1/64 ride in 2002? It was produced by Hasbro and badged by Disney as the Disney Wild Racers. They came in 2 packs, sometimes with a villian. In this case a car based on The Evil Zurg. Each car had a plastic license plate with specs. The Buzz Lightyear figure in the pic is from the Hot Wheels Toy Story Action Pack that featured Big Al's car. Click on the picture to see it bigger.

Matchbox Lotus Europa

I uploaded the variations I own to the Lotus section of my site. 5 total. I love how Matchbox did both basic body types of the Lotus Europa. It took 40 years but they did it. Click on the pic to make it bigger.
I didn't know much about this car so I looked it up on Wikipedia and a Lotus Europa website. Too much info to put here but If you're curious I provided the links for you.
I would like to Thank Mark in the UK for the generous donation of the 1969 model.

Update: Lamborghini & Nissan

OK. Just a couple of quick uploads. 2 Hot Wheel Lamborghinis. A Diablo that I found in a flea market for 50 cents a couple of months ago and a Murciélago. And 2 Hot Wheels Nissans. A 350Z Tuner and a S-15. The HW Murciélago's have their own page now.

Torino Show!

Heres a pic I shot in my office back in about 2005. I had a really nice case where I could display these.
I have of course added some to my collection since then, like the ‘69 Ford Torino Talladega from Hot Wheels, a 1972 Ford Torino Sport from JL and M2 made a really nice 1970 Ford Torino GT. Maybe I should give then their own page.

Hey there viewers. Today's update are 3 new BMW pics. I know I need to sit down and shoot all my BMWs since this is just a handful, but then I need to do a lot of things. I think Maisto did a good job on this one and the X6.
